Brett Roderick is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force – 2003-2016
Brett started his military career in Minot, ND and from there went from South Korea, to North Carolina, numerous deployments to the middle east and the Horn of Africa, and ended his career in Europe following a medical discharge.
He was born in Tampa, FL and now resides in Eastern North Carolina with his wife, Deserae, and their young son. Together they own a pet supply store, real estate holdings, and a small homestead. Brett has spent his post-military life in small business ownership following an entrepreneurial spirit, while performing a balancing act between business and family.
Brett is also a contributing author to Firewatch Magazine in a series discussing and highlighting the complexities of parenting as a veteran in today’s rapidly evolving world and how to navigate its greatest challenges.
