Tony & Melisa founded the organization to help Veterans reintegrate and reconnect with their families engagingly and interactively. Our services are available to all veterans in need. Tony has over 30 years of experience in diving, including time in the service as an EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) Tech. After leaving the service, he became a Government civilian with the Navy and later transferred to Tampa, Florida. Our non-profit organization is designed for Veterans by Veterans.

What We Do

Bubbles forVets is aTampa, Florida-based nonprofit501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting veterans, first responders, and their families through the transformative power of scuba diving.  After completing a mandatory 40-hour online scuba course, our valued participants are brought to Tampa for an immersive four-day, all-expenses-paid scuba training program where they complete their scuba certification, reconnect with the foundation of a family unit, build life-changing skills, foster a positive experience, and create endless shared memories.

Butweoffermorethanjustacertification—our program includes access to therapy and counseling services tailored to each family’s needs for up to a full year after their experience. At Bubbles for Vets, we’re not just teaching scuba diving; we’recommittedtohealing,connection,long-term support,andlastingimpactforthosewho’vegivensomuch.
