Dan Hughes grew up in Atlanta, GA, and entered adulthood with a commitment to service. In 2007, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, where he served four years in motor transportation, including combat deployments to Al-Fallujah, Iraq, and Sangin, Afghanistan.
After completing his military service, Dan earned a finance degree from the University of Central Florida and joined Lockheed Martin, supporting the F-35 program. But despite the stability of a major defense contractor, Dan felt called toward a more challenging path, one that demanded grit, risk, and relentless work.
He stepped into the world of sales, grinding seven days a week, all hours of the day. That drive led him into medical device sales, where he supported active-duty orthopedic surgeons from Fort Drum, NY, to Fort Irwin, CA. It was here that Dan found the intersection of service, medicine, and human connection; a foundation that would shape everything he would build next.
Today, Dan has found his true purpose in holistic wellness.
He founded Coastal Primary Care & Wellness to solve a problem he saw everywhere: people being priced out of basic care, drowning in insurance complications, or denied access to advanced therapies they genuinely needed.
